This was a good reason to bring back the death penalty this country is toothless and pathetic.

I still cant believe this happened in this country. The Death penalty should be brought back ,and for scum that carried out the Heinous attack, it should be used.... We as tax payers have to keep these tossers in prison comfort for the rest of their lives which could be as much as 60 years! Don't need the do-gooders telling me otherwise, Dispatch them in the most painful and hideous way available. Rest in Peace Lee.... you are a true hero. 🙏

I can’t bring myself to hit the like button! I remember that day very vividly! It was the day I fell out Of Love with the United Kingdom, the day I watched in Horror as one of our own was Brutally Murdered whilst bystanders could not do anything! Only metres from safety a lone father who had just finished work leaves behind him a devastated family and a million or so enraged, confused, hurt & angry Vererans. I’ve nothing More to say on the subject as if I was to unload I suspect I’d be banned from all social media for ever and would expect a call from the boys in blue! So sorry Lee, that there wasn’t one of us nearby for you Brother. Rest in Peace and may God ease the pain of your loved ones.

A very sad day indeed, our son was based at Woolwich and was in the barracks that morning. When we heard what had happened we immediately tried to contact our son on his mobile, we got through but only to his answer phone. The next few hours were torture until he arrived home, he had left the Barracks early that day. Our Heart goes out to Lee,s family and friends. God bless his soul. How many more times will the scum that carried out this cowardly deed be allowed to appeal their sentences. How much more money will their lawyers make off the back of this Henious act, and feel no shame in doing so. What a pathetic nation we are becoming.

RIP. Horrific incident. Will it make the news today on mainstream. Sadly probably not. #lestweforget

Please remember that Fusilier Rigby’s family have specifically requested that his image should not be used in social media posts, particularly those that attract comments of a racist nature. “Mrs Rigby called for the posts referencing her son and using his image to stop. "We ask you all to please stop using his image and memory in such posts as he was a lover of all of humanity. "Every race, gender, creed, sexuality and colour. "So seeing such use of his name harms not only his family but his legacy and memory.” https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/greater-manchester-news/lee-rigby-family-social-media-18361369

Similar outrages have happened since…Manchester Arena…Nottingham students/maint guy…..it will continue because this country is such a soft touch. Bring back the death penalty

I was in 1RRF and left many years before Lee joined the battalion, although I never met him, when this happened I was saddened with what occurred, every year on April 23rd (St.Georges day) I raise a toast to all Fusiliers past and present, and have a whisky sat there the toast the fallen. As all Fusiliers say "Once a Fusilier, always a Fusilier" Rest in peace, see you in the reorg, Honi soit qui mal y pense

RIP Mr Lee Rigby. Thoughts are with the loved ones and ones who love you left behind. I remember watching the news as events unfolded and it was simply a case of unfortunately being in the wrong place at the wrong time. The manner in which your young life was taken by the pond life was extreme and brutal. I am not going to waste a breathe or word on the scum responsible but I do feel that instead of giving them a roof over their head, 3 meals a day and access to education I think the electric chair is where they should have been placed. I just hope each and every day the pond life who took your life should suffer
