Success can be measured in many ways; some businesses boast about their longevity, others claim to be the best in their area, while others rely on their sales or customer numbers. However, in the entertainment industry, success is defined by the outcome of each event. Your reputation is built on the success of your last performance. We believe that exceptional experiences are the key to success in this industry. Therefore, we always prioritize delivering the best experiences at every event. In entertainment, your worth is determined by your last show. #EventSuccess #CustomerExperience #QualityOverQuantity #SuccessMetrics
Your audience's experience is the hidden key to our success. The Oak Lawn Park District had a firsthand experience with our collaboration last December. We joined forces with the park district, bringing the Art of Inflation balloon show to entertain kids in their Day Off Program. Pavilion-Recreation Supervisor Ewa Koziol responded, "Thank you so much for coming! The show exceeded my expectations by 1000 times. I will definitely stay in touch for the next 'field trip.' I also shared your website and information." This is our benchmark for success. If we ever fall short or fail to surpass your expectations, we analyze, enhance, and press forward, committed to learning from past experiences. #testimonialtuesday #ParkDistrictCollaboration #KidsEntertainment #SuccessStories #OakLawnParkDistrict #EventEntertainment #CustomerSatisfaction #LearningFromExperience

In December 2023, I was invited by Courtney Christensen from Kansas City Public Library to give a keynote to open their 150th anniversary celebrations. In January I learned that ART IN THE LOOP FOUNDATION, the public art program for #KansasCity run by Downtown Council of Kansas City, had been so inspired by the talk that they had chosen #convivencia as the theme for their public art summer with KC STREETCAR AUTHORITY. This is the impact that I hoped to see from my research. In my latest newsletter, Ann Holliday and Edwing Mendez talk about how the capability of #coexistence transformed into more than 20 performances and installations. I find this story of Kansas City so inspiring. The big takeaways from it are: 1. There is no greater tool for communicating values than #publicart. 2. Public authorities have power and should use their power on how public spaces are used as a platform for the arts. 3. The biggest investments in the arts are not done by growing the cultural budget but incorporating the arts into public infrastructure. 4. Even when working on serious subjects, like downturn revitalization, do not forget play and wonder. Read the entire article here: https://lnkd.in/e6P3Y-wc

St. Louis does not have a branding issue; it just needs the initiative to clean itself up. Every Wednesday our company has a team meeting where we discuss issues/solutions facing different sectors of our business. A tenant recently sent us a maintenance request asking someone to throw away a rotten fruit delivery that was made to a nearby apartment. Our property manager replied to the tenant that they should put the bag in the trash container that was several feet away. Problem solved! Every day/week/month/year, St. Louis is reminded of its issues: County/City divide, crime, declining population, lack of investment/businesses, vacant buildings, etc. Sounds like we should rebrand STL as “Sisyphus City.” (Note: In Greek mythology, Sisyphus was a king that was sentenced by the gods to an eternity of frustration where he would push a boulder up a hill only to see it roll back down every time it was close to the top) It starts with small things. Sometimes lazy people do not put trash in the dumpsters located in the alley behind my house. I don’t let it sit there magically wishing for the trash fairy to pick it up. I get my hands dirty and clean it myself. St. Louis needs more “doers” if they want to see progress. I am not sitting this one out for my son’s generation to clean things up. It is my job as a parent and STL citizen to make it a better city for them. Time to take out the trash! #community #initiative #inspiration #grit #fight Greater St. Louis, Inc. We recently had Trash Arts visit us at our TYC HQ in Fort Widley to dicuss 2 opportunities to work together that will, in turn benefit and provide quality opportunities for the Young Creatives of Portsmouth. What I liked about Sam and Jackson was that - they came out to our HQ to dicuss this. They could have asked to meet for a coffee in a cafe (we get countless lovely requests for this each week). Trash Arts wanted to see where we worked from and what we do. This is great business and had me in a positive mindset about them as a company, before they even arrived to pitch their projects. Controversly, I don't like coffee and coming from a no income start in life and running a not-for- profit, I can't help but begrudge spending what equates to a lot of money a year on parking and drinks plus loosing 1 to 2 hours out of the day. Importantly, I got to show Sam and Jackon around the space where our young creatives make the magic happen. And they got a real feel for who we are and what we do. It turns out that I believe we may be coming from a similar place when you look at what we do and why within our home cities. I am happy to be working together. ** Please note - I would have happily met them at their own place of work for the same reasons. This is not a moan about me having to travel to network and connect, it's just an understanding of why, when you are working at grassroots level with community projects and not for profits, sometimes it may be better to consider going out to see where it happens or inviting them to you, over meeting in a Costa for a coffee 😉 https://lnkd.in/egMx4Rgf
