President & General Manager at KYTX CBS19

Yesterday our KYTX CBS19 Weather Experts (Chief Brett Anthony, Sara Blue, and Savannah Hale) led us & the market through Tropical Storm Beryl. This included 4.5 hours of continuous coverage with an additional 2 hours of news coverage to round out the day. TS Beryl was the most intense Weather Impact Alert Day in ETX history, producing 67 NWS Tornado Warnings, which more than doubled the previous record! So today the least we could do is recognize them with the KYTX CBS19 SWAG chain!! Thank you for keeping us safe and informed #PuttingEastTexasFirst #Tegna #WIAD

Brett is the best. Was a pleasure to work with him many years ago.
