Roger Popa Correct - you can build data pipelines/datafeeds that publish (and subscribe) to kdb using PyKX. https://code.kx.com/pykx/ https://code.kx.com/pykx/2.5/examples/ipc/index.html#quickstart/

Is the RDB responsible for both EOI & EOD write-down/merging or is some service specific for this not shown?

Is there any plan to bring multi-threading to q in the near future? Would be nice if we could take advantage of the RDB having all of that data in memory

Thanks everyone for joining today, if you have any questions that we didn't cover during the live stream, feel free to reach out!

Is a gateway generally a thin wrapper only concerned with abstracting the RDB/HDB, or is it more like a complex service or an app in its own right?
