Christina Verchere, CEO OMV Petrom: “Our results for 9m/23 reflect a much lower energy prices environment, decreased demand for gas and power and were also impacted by the effects of the planned turnarounds of our Petrobrazi refinery and Brazi power plant. In Q3/23 we had strong operational performance, with hydrocarbons production almost flat quarter on quarter and high utilization rates for our downstream assets after the planned turnarounds.   Compared to the results recorded in the unprecedented context of 2022, our 9m/23 reported net income is ~ 70% lower at RON 2.5 bn. Over the same period, our investments were almost 50% higher, at RON 3.4 bn, while contributions to the state budget, including base dividends, reached RON 12.4 bn. Furthermore, special dividends of almost RON 600 mn were distributed to the Romanian state in October. We entered the development phase for the Neptun Deep project, following the endorsement by the regulator of the field development plan and the awarding of contracts for the main offshore facilities. We advanced with our projects in renewable and e-mobility infrastructure. We also completed one year ahead of plan the modernization of Petrom branded filling stations network under the partnership with Auchan, with proximity stores now available across the entire country for our customers.” Find out more on our results here: https://lnkd.in/ed4P5QSX

We're pleased to announce that our annual conference returns in its regular October slot for the fourth time later this year. We launched the conference in 2021 during the COVID-19 lockdown. The virtual format proved so successful that we stuck with it when the world returned to normal.
