Exciting updates from Moonly in their weekly progress update #68! The wallet checker has been improved with a revamped UI, making it easier to select and connect wallets. They have also added multi-chain support and made enhancements to the sign-in and linking process. In addition, improvements have been made to the Staking v2 feature, including restructuring staked NFTs data structure and fixing various issues. Last week for Galaxy I wrote about MetaMask, the most widely used crypto wallet, introducing a new feature called “Snaps” that allows users to install third-party developed applications directly into their wallet. Snaps opens up the design space for any team on any chain to integrate with MetaMask, turning MetaMask into a much more customizable wallet. Users will have the ability to design their own wallet experience specific to their preferences, similar to Chrome Extensions for Google’s Chrome browser. If successful, Snaps should further strengthen MetaMask’s dominance in the wallet space and give it an edge in cross-chain integrations. In 2021 I was fazed with the choice of designing user payment for VerifiedCreators MVP using the conventional crypto payment processors or embracing an unknown solution with better UX. I chose the latter. VC was designed to accept user payments via NFTs. Over 150 VC NFTs sold on Eth and DeSo chains so far. The upcoming VC 2.0 will embrace the subscription-based model and I will be making a similar decision. Metamask & DeSo identity. I believe if traditional banks can onboard billions of people to use ATM cards, crypto web/mobile wallets can make their numbers look like a joke. We just need more great product people leading crypto companies/platforms. #web3 #web3community
