The 2024 Ai Support Art Exhibition is now accepting submissions for artworks by people with disabilities. Hiroshima Prefecture has been promoting the "Love Support Movement" since October 2011 to achieve a society where everyone can live comfortably, irrespective of disability. The goal is to deepen understanding and awareness of disabilities, as well as promote the independence and social participation of people with disabilities.<br><br>The exhibition will be held at the Hiroshima Prefectural Art Museum and the Fukuyama Museum of Art. The dates for the exhibition are Tuesday, October 29th, 2024 to Sunday, November 3rd, 2024 in Hiroshima, and Tuesday, November 26th, 2024 to Sunday, December 1st, 2024 in Fukuyama. The submission guidelines include eligibility requirements, application types (such as painting, sculpture, and calligraphy), and expressions regulations to ensure works comply with standards.<br><br>The application period is from Tuesday, July 9, 2024 to Friday, August 9, 2024. Applications can be submitted online via a form or by mail. Submitted works will undergo an examination process, and if selected, instructions for delivering the works to the exhibition will be provided. Works that do not meet the packaging requirements may not be accepted.<br><br>For works exhibited at the Hiroshima Prefectural Art Museum, removal should be done directly on Sunday, November 3rd, 2024. For works at the Fukuyama Museum of Art, removal should be done on December 1st, 2024. Personal information may be disclosed if a work wins an award or is selected for a traveling exhibition. Photography at the exhibition venue is prohibited, but images of submitted works may be used for public awareness projects related to disabilities.
