Kloeckner.i at the B2Run in Berlin Last week, we at kloeckner.i had the pleasure of participating in the B2Run in Berlin, a 5.7 km run around and through the iconic Olympic Stadium. The evening was magical, with perfect weather and a breathtaking sunset framing the event. 🌞 A big thank you to kloeckner.i for giving us the opportunity to be part of this experience - an event not just about sport, but above all, about community and connection. 😉 To everyone who participated, to our CEO Sarah Lawton-Duma, who was there to cheer us all on, thank you for making the day truly special! ❤️

After the success of the first two editions of Women@Kloeckner, we are thrilled to announce that the third edition was equally impactful. The topic for this session was ‘Boost Your Day: Mastering Your Personal Energy’. 💪   As always, the event opened with an inspiring keynote. After contributions from Sarah Lawton-Duma, CEO at kloeckner.i GmbH, and Robin Portera, Director of P2P & Indirect Spend at Kloeckner Metals - Americas, this time it was Christina Kolbeck, CFO Europe at Klöckner & Co SE, who took the stage. A heartfelt thank you to Christina for sharing her career journey—from its beginnings to her current role—focusing on the challenges she's faced and the successes she's achieved. Her candidness allowed us to connect on a personal level and gain valuable insights from her experiences.   Following the keynote, our trainers, Madeleine Yoran and Kaja Demuth, led an engaging session that invited us to reflect on how we manage our personal energy. This hour-and-a-half workshop provided an opportunity to exchange habits, ideas, and experiences, creating a dynamic and motivating conversation.   A big thank you to the event organizers, our trainers, and all the participants 🙏 . And a special thanks to Kloeckner for making these enriching and deeply meaningful moments of connection possible. ❣   The takeaway this time? Reflect on how we manage our energy, cultivate positive habits, and continuously seek ways to improve our well-being every day. 🧘♀️ 😉

After the success of our inaugural event focused on networking among women, highlighted by an inspiring keynote from our CEO, Sarah Lawton-Duma, our Women@Kloeckner gathering returned with a pivotal focus: understanding the art of setting boundaries and mastering the art of saying no (and yes!) when necessary, both in personal and professional spheres 👩💻 👩👧👦 This time, we were honored to have Robin Portera, Director of P2P & Indirect Spend at Kloeckner Metals - Americas, as our keynote speaker. Robin shared her remarkable journey, illustrating how she climbed to a leadership position while surmounting various challenges. Continuing our tradition from the first event, our format transitioned into an interactive workshop, organized and led by yuii Business-Training (Madeleine Yoran and Kaja Demuth). We extend our gratitude to them for their invaluable inputs and methods, fostering collaboration in both small and large groups, and yielding exceptional results in record time. Every moment spent with them is a true pleasure! ⏳✨ Thanks to the inspiring stories shared by our colleagues, we're reminded that while life presents challenges and obstacles, they can certainly be overcome. How? By mastering the art of setting boundaries and surrounding ourselves with individuals from whom we can learn and with whom we can share experiences (networking), we can undoubtedly progress toward our goals. Let's ask ourselves more often: Why not me?💪🤝

🌟 This week we had our first 'Women at Kloeckner' event - a virtual event dedicated entirely to women in the business world at Klöckner. The intention is to create a platform of insightful conversations, empowering training, valuable networking, and the celebration of female leaders in the corporate world. The highlight of this very first event was a keynote speech by our CEO Sarah Lawton-Duma who shared her career journey, challenges she faced and overcame, balancing family and career, and how important it is to enjoy what you are doing! Her speech was followed by an interactive workshop by yuii Business-Training on networking for women with great hints and tips on how to overcome the fear of meeting new people and what value you can derive from a strong network. We plan a networking series with more events to come 🚀
