Kitron US organized a voluntary initiative to provide bottled water to local fire departments to help them stay hydrated. Due to the extreme heat in Pennsylvania, our team collected several cases of water and donated it to seven different fire departments. In various emergency situations, bottled water serves as a reliable, uncontaminated source of water since firefighters are physically demanding and work in unpredictable environments. Regardless of the remoteness of the location, bottles can be easily transported and distributed to ensure that firefighters have access to drinking water. Every effort counts at Kitron. Together, we can make a positive impact on the world around us! #WeAreKitron #KitronUS

Giving Week for #ReGrowIsrael continues and I want to share another example of destruction from #Kibbutz Alumim. At Kibbutz Alumim, 10 Nepali agricultural students were murdered in their living quarters, four others injured and one taken hostage in Gaza. Nine Thai workers were murdered, one injured and four taken hostage. 300,000 chickens were killed when two of their three coops were burned along with their control center. The irrigation and electricity system were destroyed, so irrigation could not be restored. This took time. There were no Israeli in the coops and fields during these attacks. So why? Why take the time to raise such destruction? Why murder so many Thai and Nepalese? It was a systematic and deliberate attack on the food security of Israel. This is why we are raising funds to support the farmers. Please join us. You can restore one acre of damaged farmland for $18. Everything helps. The flood menace that has hit our country has adversely affected hundreds of families. It has destroyed homes, crops, and infrastructure, leaving many communities without shelter, food, or clean water. The situation is dire, and the people affected desperately need our support. Your contribution, no matter how big or small, can make a significant difference in the lives of those who have lost everything. Together, we can make a difference and help these communities rebuild their lives. Please consider donating today to support the flood victims in Kenya. #KCDFimpactingCommunities

There’s a lot of “stuff” in the world that gets thrown away all the time, and animal care organisations are no exception. But what if we could find new homes for those items instead? Rather than unused or unwanted materials from one department being thrown away, we can try to find new purposes for our unneeded “stuff”. Wood scraps from a construction project may inspire new climbing structures or leftover fabric scraps could become toys. If maintenance invests in new drills or other tools, the old ones can be donated to other teams who can use those tools creatively, or to upskill themselves, rather than sitting unused in a toolbox or the back corner of a dark dusty shed! Can you create a communal “donation” area, or an online space where staff can collaborate, share, swap, donate, and browse? #reuse #recycle #repurpose #animalcare

Everyone has a different tolerance for kitchen clutter. Whether you easily declutter or struggle to let go, chances are you have too many of these items: 🔘 Cookbooks you never read: Donate them or organize a cookbook swap with friends. 🔘 Old dish cloths: Retire them to the "rag" section, toss them, or donate to an animal shelter. 🔘 Food containers: Recycle mismatched pieces and repurpose stained ones for storage. 🔘 Takeout menus: Everything is online. Use them for messy projects and then toss them. 🔘 Tote bags: Stop accumulating them. Use them around the house or donate to shelters and food banks. Ready to declutter and organize your home? We want to make the word a better place. For our pets, for the people, for the planet. 2023 brought us closer to realizing this, since during the year we volunteered at 92 pet shelters, donated 520 000 portions of pet food, planted 2000 trees and collected 7 tons of waste across our Central European countries. Check out our great video below, to find out what more we did for a better tomorrow together. #TomorrowStartsToday #MarsCentralEurope #proudlymars

As winter begins to fall upon us and we move indoors, it is time to check our sinks and toilets for leaks. December is a great time to donate any old or unused items, clean the circuit breaker, and replace any burnt-out light bulbs. What are other home maintenance items on your list to do this month? #homeownertip #diytip

💜 Twisto Stands with Communities Impacted by Floods in Czechia and Poland At Twisto, we believe in making a positive impact beyond financial services. That's why we’ve launched a month-long initiative to support those affected by the recent devastating floods in Czechia and Poland. 💜 How We're Helping: 🪙 For every transaction made by our customers in Czechia, we’ll donate 1 CZK to SOS Flood Relief fund run by Člověk v tísni. 🪙For every transaction made by our customers in Poland, 0.20 PLN will be donated to Polska Akcja Humanitarna. Your everyday transactions will help provide essential supplies like food, water, hygiene products, and emergency shelter to those who need it most. 🌍 You can track the collective impact on our website, where we'll transparently display the total funds raised. 🙏 Together, every small action makes a difference.
