Really hoping I can arrive at .Conf24 to hang 🤗 with my Trust peeps next year. The Splunk Trust is based upon selecting from the Splunk ecosystem not necessarily the top 75-ish smartest or techiest people in the world, but the top 75-ish most helpful people (who are also very competent). (Oh, we also can't work for Splunk.) Some of us help people by leading user's groups, some by answering questions on the Splunk Answers forums or the Reddit \r\Splunk subreddit or the Splunk Community Slack channel, and some of us by acting as external or internal resources for large organizations. But we all strive to create the opposite of the feeling that Stack-Overflow generates. We want people to feel comfortable asking questions, and we're happy to help them find the answers, and sometimes to also find the answers to the questions they SHOULD HAVE asked.
So much community power concentrated in such a small area! In this photo the trust is gathering for our induction ceremony last night.

In this webinar, hosted by the CSG Justice Center and Alkermes, participants will learn about the Expanding First Response Assessment Tool, designed to support communities and organizations looking to start or maintain a community responder program. Now available in Spanish, the tool can be used to inform programs that will primarily serve Spanish-speaking populations and help organizers better understand and adopt community responder programs nationwide. By investing in community responder programs, communities can transform their approach to public safety. The lack of information available to Spanish-speaking communities thus far has been a barrier to implementing these programs, however. This new tool seeks to address this challenge and make it easier for people to reimagine public safety and improve long-term outcomes for people in crisis. Register now: https://bit.ly/EFR24ES
