#whatscookinwednesday Cranberry, stuffing, and turkey are true Thanksgiving Day staples. But, what happens when you mix all three ingredients together in a bite-sized meatball? A flavor explosion that is good enough to be enjoyed year-round! Ingredients: • 1 pound ground turkey • ½ onion, diced • 1 clove garlic, minced • ⅓ cup dried cranberries, diced • 1 tablespoon fresh sage, diced • 1 egg, beaten • 1 cup breadcrumbs Salt and pepper, to taste • 1 can gravy, to serve Instructions: 1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. 2. In a bowl, combine all of the ingredients besides the gravy. Using your hands, fold until it’s thoroughly mixed. 3. Roll the meat mixture into small balls, and place on a parchment lined baking sheet. 4. Bake for 20 minutes, and serve immediately. #thanksgiving #thanksgivingrecipe #recipe #turkey #yum

Recipe: Sweet Potato and Grapes!🍠🍇 These two ingredients complement each other to make your taste buds dance!💃 Perfect for an easy but satisfying lunch or served for dinner with a protein of your choice. ✶ Ingredients 2 sweet potatoes 1 cup red grapes, cut into bite-sized pieces 1/3 cup chopped walnuts ¼ red onion, finely sliced ¼ cup hummus, watered down to the consistency of creamy dressing Salt & Pepper, to taste ✶ Directions Preheat the oven to 425°F. Scrub and dry the sweet potatoes, pricking them with a fork to prevent splitting. Place them on a baking sheet and bake for 45-60 minutes until soft. Cut open and serve topped with cut grapes, walnuts, and onion. Drizzle hummus on top and enjoy! 🤗

For #DessertDay we're sharing a vintage recipe from our archives: Fresh Strawberry Shortcake 🍓🍰 This dessert is the perfect reminder of British summertime and tastes delicious any time of year! 🤍 ⭐ Sift 225g flour, a pinch of salt and 3 tsp baking powder into bowl ⭐ Add 40g butter, rubbing with finger tips. ⭐ Add 75g caster sugar, mix to soft dough with 75ml milk. Knead for I minute, divide in to thirds. Roll each third into rounds, place on a baking sheet, brush with melted butter. ⭐ Bake in centre of preheated oven - 220°C/425°F, for 20-30 mins. ⭐ When the shortbread cools spread the Double Cream & add sliced strawberries on a round. Chocolate Eggs Recipe! 1 cup pitted medjool dates (soften them in hot water strain beforehand) 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter 1/4 cup coconut flour (sub 1/3 cup almond flour) 1 cup dark chocolate Instructions Add the dates, peanut butter coconut flour to a food processor and pulse until creamy and well combined. Line a baking sheet or plate with parchment paper and take about 1-2 tablespoons of the peanut butter mixture into your hand and form into an egg. Add to tray and repeat with remaining peanut butter mixture. Add to the freezer for a few minutes and begin melting the chocolate in a small saucepan over medium heat (or in microwave). Dip each “egg” in the chocolate one at a time and evenly coat the egg then place back onto the tray. Drizzle any extra on top and add the eggs to the freezer or fridge to set. Store leftovers in the fridge for 5 days or freezer for 2 months! Gradually add the flour and baking powder to the egg yolk & sugar mix, whisking together to achieve a thick batter. 5. Fold in the egg whites. 6. Scoop level teaspoons of the mix about 2 inches apart on a greased or lined baking tray. Sprinkle aniseed on top of each biscuit. 7. Bake for 12-15 mins until golden. 8. Cool fully on a wire rack.
