I highlight the diversity within the autism spectrum and the need for tailored approaches to support each child's unique needs. This also reflects on the emotional and empathetic growth gained from this work, describing how understanding behavioral cues and establishing routines create supportive environments. I express deep bonds formed with the children, illustrating how this work is more than a job—it's a passion that brings immense joy and fulfillment. I also advocate fiercely for the children's well-being and emphasize the shared victories in their progress. Overall, this underscores the transformative experience of working with children with ASD, celebrating the knowledge gained, the skills developed, and the profound emotional connections made.

World Autism Acceptance Week If you are autistic, formally diagnosed or self identified, I suspect you want to be accepted for your differences and embraced by society. I suspect you feel that if more people were autistic or at least understood your direct communication tyle, your strong sense of fairness and ethics, your potential strong focus you would be able to exist better in the working world. But, what if you were to receive the support you need as well? the breaks, shorter hours, a safer sensory environment, coaching for executive functioning challenges and an acceptance that you need these to be able to function at your personal best without masking. If you could only have the confidence to ask? self advocate? identify those that have your best interests at heart and are willing to fight for you? and find those cultures that are the right fit to make all that happen? You can...You are enough, you are more than enough and you can achieve given the right environment and the right support.
