🔬🌱 CER Groupe Shares Preclinical and Biomanufacturing Expertise with Master 2 of Biochemistry and Molecular and Cell Biology at University of Namur. Recently, Tania Durré and Riccardo Marega had the privilege of hosting a thought-provoking seminar at the esteemed UNamur - Recherche, upon invitation by Florence Chainiaux (FNRS research associate ). The session, titled "Exploring the Potential of Preclinical Biomanufacturing and Analytical through the Use of Mammalian Cells: Perspectives of the CER Groupe," was designed to engage and enlighten Master 2 students of Biochemistry and Molecular and Cell Biology. Over the course of two enriching hours, we delved into the invaluable insights offered by mammalian cells, focusing on the intricate world of biomanufacturing and preclinical studies. It was truly inspiring to witness the enthusiasm and curiosity of the students, as they actively participated in stimulating discussions and posed insightful questions. At CER Groupe, we are deeply committed to fostering knowledge exchange and nurturing the next generation of scientific leaders. Our seminar not only provided a platform for sharing expertise but also served as a catalyst for igniting passion and curiosity in the realm of biotechnology. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to #UNamur for hosting us and to the Master 2 students of Biochemistry and Molecular and Cell Biology for their active engagement. Together, we are paving the way for innovative advancements in the field of biomanufacturing and analytical sciences. Stay tuned for more exciting updates and collaborative opportunities ahead! #Biotechnology #ScienceEducation #CERGroupe #UniversityCollaboration #Knowledge #Biochemistry #Preclinical #Biomanufacturing

The SPARK translational research model is featured in the February 2024 issue of Nature Biotechnology in an article authored by a team that includes its creators and SPARK NS staff members. "Over the past 17 years, SPARK at Stanford has a ~50% success rate as measured by two criteria: advancing projects through licensing to commercial entities and/or entering into investigator-initiated clinical studies.” Read the story behind the development and refinement of this very successful approach to translational research at Stanford and elsewhere here: https://rdcu.be/dyJug
