What's it like to be an Interstates Recruiter? 🤔 Cody gives us a little glimpse of his recruiting world. Area of recruiting: Project Management, Estimating, Supply Chain, and Safety. What he loves about his role: Honestly, our team in recruiting. The projects we can take on and all the difficult-to-fill positions we may have at Interstates. How many different trips might Cody take in a year: In a year, I may take from 50-60 recruiting-driven events. Favorite recruiting environment/event: Classroom Presentations Cody's favorite city or school to travel to: Dordt University will always be my favorite school to go to 😊, but Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma, is amazing. Must-have travel snack/restaurant: Chick-fil-A Restaurants Cody's craziest recruiting trip memory: In my second week as an intern with Interstates, the recruiting team let me attend an event in Sioux Falls. I did not have much Interstates gear, so I was given a polo. It was the correct size, just a women's polo. So, I was out of shirts and only had a jacket as an alternative. The entire event, I wore a jacket with a very tight polo underneath. All ended well, but I got a few weird looks for wearing a jacket in 75-degree weather.
