The University of Wisconsin–Madison has been named a “new Ivy” by Forbes Magazine, one of 10 public and 10 private universities across the United States that are “turning out the smart, driven graduates craved by employers of all types.”
🎉 What an exciting milestone update! I am thrilled to share our remarkable journey on LinkedIn – in the past 6 years, we've experienced phenomenal growth in followers, from humble beginnings with 288 followers in Nov 2018 to an impressive 1400 in Jan 2024! 📊✨
For those of you who don't track marketing data like 'number of followers' or engagement rate - these statistics are important indicators of business communication health and open communication with stakeholders.
Here's what I'm the proudest of:🌟 In 2023, our social strategy changed to include stronger external engagement - what a game-changer in analytics. We actively connected with key stakeholders from Industry & Government, resulting in a significant surge in our followers and a more dynamic online community of researchers, academics, industry experts and government agencies working in research. In hindsight, why didn't we do this earlier?
🚀 One of the standout achievements of the year was working with the University Research portfolio to identify the need for their own LinkedIn Company page for the research community - welcome ANU Research and Innovation. We also progressed a working rapport with the team behind The Australian National University Company Page and all the schools and college pages across campus - critical for symbiotic social rapport.
💬 On a personal note, I was thrilled when our Company page got likes and comments from Industry and Government stakeholders, such as our friends at Grains Research and Development Corporation, Giant Magellan Telescope, and Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, amongst many others this year. I saw this as an evolution of our branding journey and our commitment to building collaborations in the academic and research landscape as well as the society our research serves.
👥 Quality engagement has been at the heart of our success. Our internal stakeholders, the incredible team at ANU Enterprise, played a pivotal role by contributing authentic content, having optimised profiles and sharing posts, and amplifying our reach and impact. Our social and communications training program and communication strategy certainly supported and enabled those who sought guidance.💜
🔍 A standout moment for me was our post highlighting our collaboration and support for a project on The Giant Magellan Telescope. The overwhelming response not only resonated with our followers but also prompted the main social account from ANU to spotlight this groundbreaking research and its impact - goals! We quickly dived into the loving embrace of the international telescope community. 🔭
🙌 Finally, T H A N K Y O U to my colleagues and to our followers. This milestone wouldn't be possible without our growing community! As we celebrate this achievement, I invite you all to stay engaged and connected.
Here's to more milestones and exciting endeavours in 2024! 🚀🌐 #ANUEnterprise#EngagementSuccess#MarketingMilestones
Peer-to-Peer Support for Students Looking for Career Purpose | Vice Chairman of the Student Senate | Career Center Student Assistant Lead | Aspiring Educator Leader
Dr. Jeffry Davis' quote from Interdisciplinary Inclinations resonated deeply with me: "Without a clear sense of purpose and direction, students may end up somewhere they never intended, lacking the preparation to live life fully and freely." This is only one of many insights I have gleaned from Wheaton College's Interdisciplinary Studies Symposium.
This is true for students and anyone navigating their career path; knowing what you want and why is crucial to landing a job that fuels your passion and allows you to thrive.
💡 But purpose doesn't appear by magic.
It takes dedication and hard work. ✨The good news?✨ Dedication is a byproduct of passion! When you're truly committed to something, understanding the "what" and "why" becomes more apparent. Your love for your chosen field fuels the drive to keep learning and growing.
When you have found passion within your field, you will develop a career path that will lead you to "live life fully and freely."

CISO, CTO, transformative leader, coach, mentor, strategist, cybersecurity expert, digital transformation sherpa and trailblazer, disrupter of the status quo, and tech evangelist.
In his own inimitable way Ken Burns provided the graduating class of Brandeis University what I consider a most brilliant commencement speech this year. My four key take-aways:
1. Leadership is humility and generosity.
2. Remember the opposite of faith is not doubt. Doubt is central to faith. The opposite of faith is certainty.
3. Don't confuse success with excellence.
4. Insist that we support science and the arts, especially the arts. They have nothing to do with the defense of our country; they just make our county worth defending.
Take a listen to a most exceptional address.

Finnish and EU policy, advocacy and international communication, MPA from Hertie School
I graduated from Hertie EMPA in fall 2022. Did you know there's a governance school in the heart of Berlin? As a proud Hertie School alumni, I had the privilege of exploring managing innovation and leadership alongside classmates from around the world and having a close interaction with professors like Helmut K Anheier, Johanna Mair and Gerhard Hammerschmid).
I would recommend Hertie to anyone who is interested in world-class education in public policy. I arrived at Hertie mid-career. It was a good time to re-think the way I "think" and update my education. We became a very tight-knit community. There are scholarships available for that programme now and until 1 June #MyHertieJourney#hertielove admission for Executive MPA is open. I strongly encourage to apply.
