All achievements, need to be appreciated.. :D As you probably know, we just finished our [RE]Energize: Hackathon 2023 last week and definitely not an instant process to achieving this one. We started on March 2023, to introduce [RE]Energize: Hackathon 2023 with a Kick-Off event. From Kick-Off to D-Day From 0% to 100% progress From the small workshop to a big stage From one city to another city With one purpose, to seek brilliant ideas and innovation for hacking the climate crisis in Indonesia, as mentioned in our tagline event. And achieve 100% clean energy economy for the 100% population. Also, we reached young professional, students in several cities, such as Denpasar & Makassar. But, we initiated introducing the Hackathon, started with the Design Thinking process, that's why the session was named "Ideation Workshop". Another reason why we started with design thinking, is because we still find the common mistake of generating a solution first, then matching the problem and misunderstanding the thought process, which is a crucial point in this Hackathon. Really happy to keep in touch with energic young people in those cities. To be honest, this is the happiest part of "Road To Hackathon"! Long shot story, we have received idea applications almost from 100 teams from around Indonesia! What a huge number and need more effort for us, to curate that into 20 teams for the next stage. From 20 teams, then to 10 teams. As a mentor on the Top 20 Teams Mentoring, the main task is just to challenge their assumption on their proposed problem and solution. So, during the sessions just talked about "why, why, why, why" and heard more about their ideas and assumptions. Moving forward to Top 10 Team Mentoring, all those teams focused on their business model, pitching technicalities & etc. Awaited moment on D-Day - Hackathon Demo Day! So grateful, for the whole event process on workshop session, pitching session, breakout room session without any mistakes & congratulations for all Hackathon Winners (PACE, Terra Verde & Plumo) for all their efforts!! Also, really grateful for working with the incredible Hackathon team to prepare this event since March & also insightfull mentors, speakers & moderator that really helping us!! 𝕀𝕥𝕤 𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕝𝕝𝕪 𝕙𝕒𝕤 𝕓𝕖𝕖𝕟 𝕒 𝕗𝕒𝕟𝕥𝕒𝕤𝕥𝕚𝕔 𝕖𝕩𝕡𝕖𝕣𝕚𝕖𝕟𝕔𝕖. I'm excited to share that I participated in my first international hackathon at lablab.ai . Before this, I had no experience with hackathons and didn't even know how to join a team. I didn't know how to find a team on Discord . Joining a team was a big challenge for me. Then I joined lablab.ai Discord and saw messages from people looking for team members, which gave me some ideas. Luckily, I found a team leader P Bola who guided me very well. Interacting with them made me feel like I wasn't participating for the first time. P Bola is a communication magician! He had the ability to explain complex projects clearly and concisely, and could clarify any doubts. For me, communication was a big challenge, as I was meeting international team members for the first time, and I was initially very confused. But after meeting with them, my confidence increased, and my communication skills improved significantly. We also had a great team member Ashwani Jha who was experienced and helped us finalize the project and divide tasks. Ashwani Jha helped us understand the project, and we started working on it. Our mentor Ahmad Jajja guided us throughout the process. We participated in the hackathon based on his advice, which gave us the opportunity to work with people at the international level. Sir Ahmad Jajja also informed us about the iCodeGuru which helped us learn a lot. I'm especially grateful to Zafar Shahid, PhD who provided us with this opportunity. 🚀 My Unforgettable Hackathon Experience! 🚀 This weekend, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in a 24-hour hackathon, and I must say, it was an experience like no other! 💻🌟 🌃 The Kickoff: The event began with an exhilarating kickoff ceremony. The atmosphere was buzzing with energy as teams from diverse backgrounds and skillsets assembled, each eager to tackle the challenge ahead. 🤝 Building Dream Teams: One of the most exciting aspects was forming teams. Strangers quickly became collaborators, pooling their unique talents to create innovative solutions. ⏳ The Countdown: As the clock started ticking, we dove headfirst into brainstorming and coding. The pressure was intense, but it fueled our creativity. The caffeine-fueled late-night discussions were filled with "Eureka!" moments. 👨💻 Coding Frenzy: The coding phase was a whirlwind. The lines of code seemed to write themselves as we sprinted toward our goal.
