Throughout SEM Portfolio Manager, Jeff Hybiak’s entire career, he’s warned that Treasury Bonds are not “low risk” (unless you buy them at issuance and hold until maturity.) They can be extremely volatile, leading to large losses. The large losses then lead many investors away from bonds entirely and retreat to “guaranteed” vehicles such as Money Market funds/accounts, CDs, high yield savings accounts, and fixed annuities. Depending on your financial plan, there might not be anything wrong with this; however, this won’t work for everyone. This week, Jeff focuses all on the bond data in his blog. Make sure to check it out, especially if you have concerns: https://lnkd.in/g64wsQMV #SEM #musings #bonds #bondmarket #bondyields #treasurybonds #investor #investments #financialplan

2023 was most certainly an interesting year in #commercialrealestate. Sarah Shanks and I are proud of the work we were able to accomplish for our clients in a rising interest rate environment. Take a look at the below highlighting some of our 2023 transactions. Be sure to reach out to either of us for a) a pulse on the CRE market, b) current available inventory or c) broker's opinion of value on your current holdings. SRS Capital Markets #srslouisville
