Had no idea that #NammaChennai had so many happening #climatepreneurs #wastepreneurs #waterWarriors making a difference to the environment and the everyday life needs. Last saturday had participated in the conscious Commune that brought together Bharat Climate Startups Team with their flagship Climapreneur™️ show, Chandrasekaran Jayaraman Sir, Ratheesh Krishnan / Rats the maker of the venture studio I had no idea about ( so oblivious :( ), @ the StartupTN premises at Nandanam & was a pleasant surprise to meet a known face in Indumathi M. Nambi, PhD, FNAE and of course the Climate Action lead Preethi Sivan. Thanks to Shweta Dalmmia for being the force for bringing we local entities closer & together - I knew a tiny few, now I know many Climatepreneurs of my city ! More power to the founders duo - Shweta and Suprio ! Was awestruck to listen to the hustlers to established venture makers and their journeys , especially Watsan Envirotech Private Limited 's Chandrasekaran Sir who had built his venture in a sector alien to his skills, by selling a life-essential like #drinkingwater to folks who could not pay. The #0km paradigm that came from Ratheesh & the various #easeOfBusiness services offered by the StartupTN office as mentioned by Sivakumar Palanisamy sound incredible, and to be lapped up asap. And the discovery that Vakilsearch is a Chennai startup ! Knowing local stuff is a must to build the Local focused solution that #Samposhan is at towards reducing the landfill or incineration destined #textileWaste. Met amazing fellow entrepreneurs Earth Focus Kanha, Hivericks Technologies, Karotimam Innovations Pvt Ltd 's Dr. Chithra Lekha P, Bala Krishnan of Tridel Technologies working on cutting-edge measurement & Monitoring technology , RecycleNXT 's Safar Rahman K. , et al.
