Wow. What a powerful video. Another reason for #Women to tell our story and talk openly about our achievements. And the Stats prove that we have a long way to go still: Women earn just 84 cents for every dollar a man makes. Women of colour are among the lowest-paid workers in rural areas, with rural Black and Hispanic women making just 56 cents for every dollar that rural white, non-Hispanic men make. Latinas are compensated just 55% of what non-Hispanic white men are paid in 2024. Black women are paid 64% of what non-Hispanic white men are paid. Native American women are typically paid only 59 cents for every dollar paid to white, non-Hispanic men. Women celebrating women is going to change the narrative for all of us. We must celebrate women of every age, every color, every race, every economic status, every education level, every contribution level. Those who are leading, those who are starting out, those who are stuggling, those who we know and those who we don't know. There is strength in numbers. There is compassion in numbers. There is empathy in numbers. There is kindess in numbers. There is love in numbers. When all 3.95 BILLION of us stand together, support eachother and CELEBRATE eachother, there is nothing we can't find, nothing we can't do, nothing we can't change and nothing we can't accomplish.
