FirePoint Innovations Center at Wichita State University – an independent, non-profit entity sponsored by Wichita State University – recently welcomed 8 engineering students from historically Black colleges & universities for a unique 10-week talent development program. Alongside engaging in internships at Spirit AeroSystems or Textron Aviation, these future innovators are being immersed in Wichita’s vibrant culture. A highlight of the program is the custom When Everyone Leads course, facilitated by Jason Bosch, Ed.D. and supported by Darryl Kelly. The first half-day session (with the second session scheduled for this weekend) tackled tough challenges we face in our professional & personal lives, emphasizing that leadership is not just for a select few but for everyone. While learning about the KLC Framework, the students are exploring how today's fast-paced, diverse world needs everyone to step up & lead. They are discovering how to see & seize moments to lead, which is energizing them to inspire & mobilize others. By the end, they will not just be ready but excited to tackle the big issues that matter most. If your organization or community is interested in a tailored leadership development approach, reach out today to collaborate with KLC. #WhenEveryoneLeads
