This spring, the Kansas Leadership Center hosted two sessions of When Everyone Leads in Kansas City. 🌟 One group met at the Wyandotte County Community Health Center, bringing together diverse community members, business owners, and volunteers. 🤝 This session honored Broderick Crawford, a beloved community advocate whose impact on Kansas City's Northeast neighborhood is still felt since his passing in November 2022. His legacy continues to inspire positive change.
Wyandotte County–Kansas' smallest yet fourth most populated county, with rich racial and ethnic diversity–provided a vibrant backdrop for the event. 💡 Participants praised the program's transformative impact, noting how it challenged their perspectives on leadership and inspired meaningful action.
Feedback highlighted the course's ability to empower individuals, foster engaging dialogue, and provide practical tools for community engagement. 🧩 Attendees left with a renewed mindset and a sense of purpose, emphasizing the importance of heart in leadership and the need for more such development to effect positive change. 🚀
These changemakers are ready for the next step on the KLC path: Your Leadership Edge. 👏 And KLC is ready to return to Kansas City!
