Both Chinese and Japanese are considered challenging languages, but which one is harder to learn? As a native Mandarin and English speaker, I've found Mandarin to be more difficult due to its complex writing system and tricky pronunciation, especially tones. However, Japanese grammar can be quite challenging, according to my Japanese-speaking friends. What's your take? #LanguageLearning #Mandarin #ForeignLanguage

CEO and Founder of Sastra Lingua Indonesia. Connecting people with experienced linguists. Transforming language education to asset-based language instructions. Building passion and talents beyond imagining.
Acquiring Madurese since I was a newborn is a blessing yet a challenge. In my opinion, every language brings characteristics which affect personality as well. Madurese is a boldly spoken language, and it somewhat brings a brave nuance to its speakers. If you ask me whether it's a good or bad nuance, I can't give an exact context because it really belongs to the situation where you use the language. One time I found that the language was utilized as a tool for masculine approval, that ended to underscore women. On the other hand, I discovered its use for motivation. In conclusion, a context really influences the language itself. I become a lexicographer in my first language, Madurese. As a lexicographer, I am a neutral person who will not differentiate the meaning of words just because they are opposite to my beliefs. As I established Sastra Lingua Indonesia to provide access to all languages including Madurese, we are open for Madurese translation projects. We care about Madurese translation because we do not want to undermine a language that is locally used. Hopefully, if you are part of a company in need of Madurese translation, my company will bridge our goals. Cheers, Imamatul Khair, S.Hum., M.Ed Director of Sastra Lingua Indonesia The Center for Translation, Editing, Interpreting, Research, Language Testing & Training https://lnkd.in/etNMQyz8 #madurese #translation #maduresetranslation #maduresetranslator
