With the financial aid priority application period ending today, it is imperative to accentuate the obscurity of challenges that our students, particularly those hailing from families of mixed status, are confronting in navigating the labyrinthine financial aid application process this academic cycle. Access to higher education is an already daunting threshold, one that should not be further exacerbated by these procedural encumbrances. Hence the necessity for every school to have a dedicated school counseling team and college access support, ensuring students receive the necessary support during these challenging, but crucial stages of their post-secondary education journey.
