Enter Black Forest Labs, a new AI startup founded by researchers and engineers who are behind the original stable diffusion model. A good week ago, they released their new model straight out of stealth mode: Flux.1 is the largest diffusion model publicly accessible to date and comes in three sizes with different licenses: Flux.1 pro is the best version and can only be accessed via paid API. 🔐 Flux.1 dev is distilled from Flux.1 pro and open source (the weights) with a non-commercial license. 📝 Flux.1 schnell is tuned for fast/schnell inference and comes with the Apache 2 License. Since its release it has already attracted quite some attention, the first ControlNets and LoRA have already been trained successfully. In their benchmarks, Black Forest Labs finds that Flux might indeed be the "Midjourney Killer" 🔪 that the open-source community was waiting for. This is the first time Buldak products, which are exported to about 80 countries, have been recalled for being too spicy. But now, Buldak is back on Danish shelves and hotter than ever! As a thank you, Buldak invited Danes on the spiciest ferry ride through Copenhagen to enjoy their favorite Buldak with all kinds of toppings and spicy sauces, to party and celebrate with Hochi, experience spicy drinks, and listen and dance to some of the spiciest music.
