In today's LinkedIn story, I wanted to share with you an inspiration that led me on a journey to start my own business. It all started with the fascinating origins of the mass production of chicken nuggets. Did you know that chicken nuggets were first introduced to the world in the 1950s? The concept of shaping and breading small pieces of chicken revolutionized the way people consumed poultry. As the demand for this convenient and delicious food grew, so did the need for large-scale production. This sparked a wave of innovation in the food industry. Witnessing the impact of this mass production phenomenon left a lasting impression on me. I was captivated by how a simple idea could reach millions of people and create a thriving market. It made me realize the incredible potential of turning passion and innovation into a successful business venture. With this newfound inspiration, I embarked on my entrepreneurial journey. I wanted to bring my own unique vision to life, combining my passion for quality food and my desire to make a positive impact in the world. Through careful planning, extensive research, and a dash of creativity, I launched my very own business. Since then, my business has flourished, reflecting the values that inspired me from the beginning. We prioritize using fresh, locally sourced ingredients to create wholesome, flavorful products that bring joy to our customers. Additionally, sustainability and social responsibility are embedded in the core of our operations, ensuring that we contribute to a better future. Starting my own business has not been without challenges, but the lessons I learned from the journeys of innovators in the mass production industry, particularly within the chicken nugget realm, have empowered me to overcome obstacles with resilience and determination. I am grateful for the path that led me here, bridging my fascination with chicken nugget production and igniting my entrepreneurial spark. It serves as a constant reminder that there is extraordinary potential in every idea, if only we have the courage to pursue it. So let this serve as an inspiration to all the aspiring entrepreneurs out there. Whether your fascination lies in chicken nuggets or any other innovation, embrace the journey, learn from it, and let your passion guide you towards building a successful business. #Entrepreneurship #Innovation #Inspiration #ChickenNuggets

‘Making Malaysian food accessible to everyone’. Authentic sauces. UK Quality Food Award 2018, 2020. Co-op Small producer Award 2020. @coop @selfridges
Exactly three years ago we were honoured to win the Co-op Small Producer Award and the prestigious Quality Food Awards for our curry paste. Since that momentous occasion, our business has experienced a transformation that has far exceeded our wildest expectations. Due to the effects of Covid, it took 2 years to launch, but well worth the wait when we were finally on the shelves of Co-op this time last year. The primary catalyst for our growth has been the invaluable support and guidance through the Co-op #apiary scheme. The unwavering commitment to mentoring and empowering small businesses and challenger brands, has been nothing short of a game changer. It has provided us with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate the complex world of entrepreneurship. Our market reach has expanded which serves as a testament to the quality, uniqueness, and appeal of our products. Building brand recognition and trust in todays competitive marketplace is no small feat, and our presence on the shelves has proven instrumental in achieving this. Customers can now discover and enjoy our offerings, and foster a connection with our brand. The journey has been fraught with challenges, learning experiences, and moments of triumph, but as as we reflect on the last 3 years, we are more committed then ever to the path of growth and innovation. We look forward to the future where the possibilities are as boundless as our dreams. What is the biggest challenge facing food and drink entrepreneurs? ‘Marketing’ according to Jason Gibb's live survey at Bread & Jam's Start Up Summit. But what what is marketing? Simply put it’s 5 P’s product, price, place, promotion and people. Too often brands think it’s just about promotion through communication. It’s much bigger and more integral to the business. ✅ You need all of the P’s working to deliver success ✅ Don’t get caught up in creative that isn’t worth talking about ✅ Make sure you build stories into your products and services D'arcy McLeod Lydia Dawkins Rosie Burbidge #pr #brand #foodanddrink #startup #breadandjam

Day 5 of 100 Days of Marketing Madness 💡 Have you ever noticed Coke bottles with people's names inscribed on them? This is thought to be one of the most successful marketing initiatives in history! In 2012, Coke noticed that their market share in Australia was declining. They absolutely needed to take action. What followed was pure genius. They placed 150 of Australia's most frequent names on their bottle labels. When customers noticed their own names on Coke bottles, they instantly took pictures and purchased them! This sparked much interest. As a result, Coke's Australian market share grew by a staggering 4%! Based on the success, Coke launched the same campaign in several parts of the world and saw outstanding results. Follow for more Shourya Sharma #business #marketing #startup #entrepreneurship

Quench Your Own Thirst by Jim Koch is a must-read for anyone interested in entrepreneurship. It's a fascinating account of Jim's journey with Sam Adams beer. Here are some of my key takeaways from the book: 1. Know your customer: Jim Koch spent a lot of time talking to beer drinkers in bars to understand what they loved about Sam Adams and what wasn't working with his product. This helped him to make critical decisions always putting the customer first. 2. Know your product: Jim's deep understanding of his beer, from the hops used to where they came from, to the quality of the bottle used to package it, helped him to showcase the value of his product to others. 3. Be innovative: Sam Adams has experimented with different ideas in the beverage industry that are not beer. The success of Twisted Tea is a great example of the company's willingness to take chances and keep growing. Overall, Quench Your Own Thirst is an inspiring read that offers valuable insights into the world of entrepreneurship.
