Getting Athletes And Veterans Dialed In as Business Professionals

Our pipeline of accountable, coachable, and team oriented sales candidates across North America is absurd. We win on every front that matters: Mindset ✅ College ( ) Athletes and Military Veterans are conditioned to operate in the best interest of the larger group, to work hard, and to get sh*t done. They learn in our program to not lose ANY of that when they enter the working world. Well Trained ✅ We've built teams that have far exceeded lofty goals, we know what folks need to know to be successful in their first 12 months. No Fluff. No Bullshit. Diverse ✅ This is a byproduct of our pipeline. Tell me a more diverse group of people then NCAA Athletes and the Military? Waiting... Bought In ✅ We've all hired the high intellect/great personal skills candidate because of their high potential - and we've all gotten the chat when they left the business because "sales wasnt for them". Those candidates don't make it to the end of our program, full stop. Transparent ✅ You don't have to trust us that they are well trained, you can literally watch videos of them doing the skills you're going to pay them to do BEFORE you interview them on your own time, from the comfort of your laptop. I know founders get wrapped around the axel when it comes to their babies and think, no matter what, their offering is the best in the world. And I'm no different. BUT - I've LIVED the problems we solve. I've struggled to find a new purpose after losing my identity. I've mis-hired hundreds of sales people. There is not a better solution in the world if either of those things are the problem you are trying to solve. #AllGasNoBrakes #DialedIn

I've hired and trained my fair share of athletes and veterans. And some work out, some don't. What I think you're talking about is "grit", thats the skillset I am seeking.. Here are some other candidates I have had great success with in sales. 1. Teachers - Guess what they know how to do? TEACH! And they know how to break down based on the level of the human they are speaking with. Plus, once they realize they've been in sales all this time, they love it because they want to make more money. 2. Troubled Souls - Essentially people with something to prove. They have a chip on their shoulder. I've hired people on probation, they are just looking for a chance. I have hired people who lost 100lbs. They know what hard work means. Finally, bad hires are not always the fault of the candidate. They are often the fault of the hiring manager because nobody taught them a thing about how to find grit. Which is where you come in, JR Butler Great and thought provoking post.
