J/P HRO seeking Executive Director for reforestation initiative, Haiti Takes Root. Background Haiti Takes Root (HTR) is a unique public-private coalition, led by the Government of Haiti (GOH), whose goal is to reverse over 200 years of devastating deforestation in the country.  Objective Serve as the Executive Director of the Haiti Takes Root Initiative, helping provide strategic and operational leadership for this high profile public-private reforestation effort. This position is one that requires an experienced manager who has excellent personal skills, while also being proactive and operational.  Roles and Responsibilities 1. Lead the development of the multi-actor institutional structure and associated technical and policy strategy for HTR.  2. Assist J/P HRO and the GOH with fundraising for the Initiative. 3. Oversee small team within J/P HRO that implements on the ground reforestation programming as part of J/P HRO’s contribution to the larger HTR Initiative. To learn more email [email protected]
