【#ScienceFacts: In what year was gravitational wave first detected🌌?】 Over 100 years ago, Albert Einstein predicted the existence of gravitational wave, which is ripples in the fabric of space-time💧. At that time, Einstein thought such ripples would be nearly impossible to detect. With the advancement of technology, more equipment has emerged to detect gravitational waves. Now, when was the first time that a gravitational wave was directly detected? It was 5:51pm (HKT) on 14 September 2015 that the Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory (LIGO) directly detected gravitational waves for the first time. This detection opened up a new window on the Universe. Source:https://bit.ly/3wb8lJP #HKLF #HongKongLaureateForum #LeeShauKeeFoundation #2023 #LIGO

off the cuff, intelligence is some type of photonic/atomic "automatic field"? ...photon particles are less than x10^37in size, so their form is not defined, they have 3 gradients space (velocity), electromagnetic fields (planetary) and gravitational (spatial) all spinning in a "clockwise" direction, the spin of the photon is so fast that it looks like a "corpuscle"! This particle has 10 arms (decacle) but looks like 4 arms (swastika) and the velocity is such (>300,000- >300 million km/sec) that resembles a "protoplasmic cloud" on the move! these "photonic clouds" do not move sequentially but "jump" from one bit of space to another (folding space?)...do you think we can define the superimposed photonic plane of the cosmos? Is this the quantal level of action of intelligence? Rainbow 🌈 Image from Miles Mathies

Type Ia supernovae are famous for their use in measuring distances to other galaxies, a use that led to the discovery that the Universe's expansion is accelerating under the influence of dark energy. In a new paper, I show that underluminous (1991bg-like) Type Ia supernovae are also standard candles and suggest using them to create a new cosmological distance ladder. The paper is now on arXiv: https://lnkd.in/eRRa-KbJ

Greetings, In our latest blog post, we explore the concept of the universe as an expanding balloon. Imagine yourself as a point on this balloon, with countless planets, stars, and galaxies surrounding you like dots on its surface. As the balloon continues to expand, these dots move away from each other at an equal rate. To delve deeper into this fascinating analogy, click on the following link: https://ift.tt/UCziYI5 Expand your understanding of the cosmos with our insightful post. Best regards, [Your Name]

Einstein's Unification has now been 100 % completely and "Definitively Solved" via SolarMathTM !! Time absolutely "is" Gravity !! (even Einstein agreed on this) Quantum-mass flowing into the earth (keeping you pushed onto the earth) drives absolutely every type of clock on earth !! The electrical flow of quantum Gravitational-mass into the earth is also connected to the electromagnetic-Wave between the sun and all planets. That Kingwave is driving all planetary rotation and orbits which of course is "thee" core definition of "Time" (Day, Year). Physic Standard Model E(0•ℾ, -ℾ) field extension… E(0•ℾ, ±ℾ) ......Let’s extend a near zero Planck Vacuum area to 1 [m2] square, and then warp the surface area into a 3D volume….. .................What next?...............a density calculation! ..................how about dividing the surface area (4• π • r3^2 ) of the positively ~0 slightly curved edge of our universe, that is covered by an outer surface super fluid that orbits 1 • 10^791 neutrons between gravity well with minimum decay half life equal 14 min....... ........and don't forget .............that our universe has an outer most neutral super fluid surface, with an inner edge populated by 'neutron' decay product charges called protons with half life equal to that of Thorium nuclei with 14 billion year decay half life..... Note..... the boundary between the outer and inner most edges of our universe's outer most surface appears as cosmic horizon that looks acts like a glued boundary ...by gluing ~E(0•ℾ, ±ℾ) and E(0•ℾ, -ℾ) geometric surfaces together with a strong and gravitational force character.

#BePreparedToBeWrong We live in exciting times. Last 30-40 years have changed the whole landscape of Neuroscience and Cosmology. Lot of theories have been debunked and lot of discoveries have been made. James Webb telescope discovers 6 BIG galaxies which were born just half a billion years after big bang!! How is that possible? Each galaxy takes billions of years to take shape. 1) Is James Webb discovery suggesting presence of Primordial Galaxies at the time of Big Bang which "enabled" Big Bang? 2) Is James Webb Discovery suggesting Big Bang took place much earlier than 13.7 billion years? OR, 3) Is James Webb Discovery suggesting that there was no Big Bang to begin with !? We have been barking up the wrong tree? Ladies & Gentlemen, Be Prepared To Be Wrong🙂. Really exciting times ahead 👀 #MichioKaku #JamesWebbDiscoveries https://lnkd.in/gDQmPAWC

If Space is filled with the brightest stars then why do we still say that *Space is Dark*?? That's a great question! The term "dark space" can be a bit misleading, as it doesn't necessarily mean that space is completely devoid of light. Instead, it refers to the fact that the vast majority of space is filled with vast distances between stars and galaxies, making it incredibly dark and difficult to detect any light. There are a few reasons why space is considered "dark": 1. *Interstellar medium*: The space between stars and galaxies is filled with gas and dust, which absorbs and scatters light, making it difficult for it to travel long distances. 2. *Distance*: The distances between stars and galaxies are so vast that the light from them is often too weak to detect by the time it reaches us. 3. *Background radiation*: The cosmic microwave background radiation, which is the leftover radiation from the Big Bang, is the dominant form of electromagnetic radiation in space. However, it's a very faint signal, and the universe is mostly dark in terms of visible light. So, even though there are many bright stars and galaxies in the universe, the vast distances and absorption of light by the interstellar medium make space appear largely dark.

"Exploring Time Dilation: Einstein's Theory in Action" Albert Einstein's theory posited that time decelerates with increased velocity. This was empirically tested in 1971 by physicists Joseph Hafele and Richard Keating, who observed that atomic clocks on a moving airplane indicated slower time passage compared to stationary ones. Time dilation also varies with gravity. The lesser the gravitational influence, like being further from Earth, the faster time proceeds. This effect is minuscule but noticeable, as demonstrated by the fact that one's head, being slightly further from Earth, ages quicker than the feet. This phenomenon is crucial for high-altitude technologies like GPS satellites orbiting 20,000 kilometers above the Earth. Near black holes, time dilation becomes extremely noticeable. An individual approaching a black hole wouldn't perceive changes in their immediate environment, yet would see events on Earth accelerating. From the perspective of someone on a space station near a black hole, watching another person fall into it, the falling person's movements would appear increasingly slower, and their clock would seem to tick slower compared to one on the space station. This raises the question of which clock shows the "real" time. Einstein's theory of relativity suggests that there's no absolute measure of time. Upon crossing the event horizon of a black hole, escape becomes impossible. The laws of physics suggest that inside the event horizon, time might flow differently, potentially allowing backward time travel. However, exiting the black hole remains impossible. Studying these effects around black holes offers physicists insights into the nature and behavior of time itself. #einsteintheory #timedilation #blackholemysteries #relativityinspace #hafelekeatingexperiment

Reflections from retirement (year 2): Light from a galaxy travels much further than the nebulas found inside the Milky Way. The light from nebula inside our galaxy only have to travel a few thousand light years to reach my telescope. Light from galaxies have to travel millions of light years to reach my telescope. The contrast of the image is the challenge for either nebula or galaxies and can be enhanced by just collecting more light (either with a large telescope or by spending more time collecting photons and stacking images). Here is one of my stacked images of a very dim galaxy NGC 4535.
