As a life long learner, I am always looking for courses that challenge my way of thinking, and that provide me with that different lens for me to view the world through. I am taking the course with colleagues from around the world, and just listening to everyone's individual journeys and life experiences has been extraordinary 😀. Specifically, we explored the hurdles of achieving effective board governance in SME business as an Arab female entrepreneur, thanks to professor Didier Cossin. I had to deal with some company investors who were behaving like board directors,” . In my opinion, building a board can be a double-edged sword. “While a board can bring a fresh perspective, it can also lead to increased expenses, added time commitment, as well as potential for conflict of interest.
