OPEN POSITION – SIX SENSES THAILAND – EXECUTIVE CHEF (YAO NOI) This is a plumb of a job. The site is phenomenal, the restaurants beautiful and the location…well it is amazing. what we like: Natural Ingredients, Local & Sustainable, and Less is More, this stays with us for everything we do while creating the next experience for our guests and hosts alike. food. Zero Waste, Plastic-free kitchens, and restaurants, fermentation (all things with funk), nutritional forward & Plant-Based menus. 50% - 55% of our menus reflect plant-based are what we look for. Local vendors, fish from the shore, and pineapples from our land (think tepache) We have our on-property veggie crops, Beehives, and hen eggs, so menu engineering and creativity for food and drink will be key. Nutritional, superfoods and gut health knowledge awareness is key. beverage. As much as we can our drink programs have a story of origin with locality, seasonality, and made-from-scratch in mind. Espresso, pour-over coffee, cold brew, fresh-pressed fruit, vegetable smoothies, and juices. Cocktails using tincture, tonics, bitters, and shrubs from local sustainable orchards and nearby farms. Kombucha teas, artisanal draft beers, ciders, and homemade draft cocktails. Expect fresh forward delicious drinks appropriate to our environs. NA cocktails and low abv drinks will keep developing. Before jumping the gun. Think culture. The on-property hosts are our jewels so nurturing will be needed. In this position, you are a mentor, a teacher, and a student all at the same time - we grow together. and you are very hands-on.
