This new edition includes updated performance expectations, structures and functions for hospitals and academic medical centers seeking JCI accreditation. In the last several decades, HIV has gone from a death sentence to a manageable chronic condition, thanks to notable advancements in science. Today, with advancements in AI, new treatments for diseases like HIV can be developed even more quickly.
