💘 Finding hiring managers their next long-term relationship | 🚚 Logistics Recruitment Liason | 🦀 Old Bay in my bloodstream and Dolly Parton in my heart 💖 | 🤝 Let’s find you the best talent together!
This is new for me… In the last 6 months or so, I've started to focus on growing my LinkedIn presence. 🤗 But I won't lie, if you asked me 5 years ago, I would have NEVER imagined I would ever have an account, let alone make posts or care about engagement! This is a story about LinkedIn, the power of connection, and why I am forever grateful for this platform. 🤝 Last summer, I was working as a Recruiting Intern for a law office in downtown Chicago. I knew the internship was coming to an end, and, like many others who are facing unemployment, I was feeling anxious and uncertain. On August 10, 2022, I received a connection request from CS Recruiting’s very own Morgan Shutman. She sent me a message about an open position for an Account Specialist. Honestly, I had applied to so many remote positions on LinkedIn (including one I did a fake interview for), so I was a bit skeptical. However, as soon as Morgan sent me an email with the job description and some more information on the position, I was extremely excited. From there, I interviewed with some amazing people I now get to call coworkers: Ashley DuBois, Samantha Korenko (Lauth), Allie Graff Cohen, and Beth Herberholz. My final “interview” was an hour or so with Ashley, where we sat at a Starbucks, talked about our common interests, and got to know each other as humans. By far my favorite interview of all time. In just a few weeks, I’ll have spent a whole year with CS Recruiting. I can’t believe how fast the time has gone by! 😱 I am truly so grateful that LinkedIn gave me that initial opportunity to connect with Morgan, who I probably never would have crossed paths with otherwise. Moral of the story (and I’m preaching to the choir here): Take a chance on LinkedIn. You never know how it can change your life for the better! ⭐ #linkedin #connect #remotejob #interview #networking

Co-Founder & Managing Partner at Fource Recruiting - Connecting stellar candidates with influential companies while ensuring a collaborative approach
It's Summer! Summer can be a prime time to find a new job!. Keep your job search active during the summer months: Many companies continue their hiring processes throughout the summer to ensure they meet their business goals and prepare for the second half of the year. Some even use this period to get a head start on fall hiring. Since many job seekers believe that hiring slows down in the summer, they may take a break. This means fewer applicants, giving you a better chance to stand out. Organizations often use the quieter summer months to fill strategic roles that are crucial for upcoming projects and initiatives. Summer events, conferences, and informal gatherings can provide excellent networking opportunities. Use this time to connect with industry professionals and learn about new openings. Persistence pays off. Keep your momentum going and take advantage of the unique opportunities summer hiring presents! Fource Recruiting
