ALOHA LEADS THE WAY IN 5 MINUTES. ▪️ Set a timer for 5 minutes. ▪️ Open your refrigerator and quickly scan for expired or spoiled food items. Remove and throw away. ▪️ Check for any items you no longer need or want. If they can be donated, place in a bag, otherwise, discard as necessary. ▪️ Wipe down any spills or sticky spots inside the fridge. The key to successful five-minute decluttering sessions is consistent practice sessions. As you incorporate them into your daily or weekly routine, you'll find when Aloha returns, your living space is free of clutter, welcomes you with open arms and is happy. Often, we just want to be delighted. And that bar, in today's world of fads, noisy marketing and viral videos, may SEEM high. But what if its actually shockingly simple and low??? As this fellow Dublin-bar goer noted, on the stall of the washroom, there were many things to like about this spot. The setting was gorgeous (class 200 Irish woodpanelled pub with dim lighting) and the service was efficient. But what made this spot stand out from the HUNDREDS of other pubs lined up in the Temple Bar district?? Why it was the Decorative Toilets. They had this old-timey handle pull system from an overhead water tank AND the bowl was decorated with painted roses. Standing out doesn't mean being the biggest, flashiest video. It doesn't have to be the most clever play on words in a marketing ad. Sometimes it is taking something you do in service (like thank you cards) and juujing it up with some unique sparkle. Not a huge, heavy lift that is unsustainable, but something that feels special, that is different from your nonprofit peers, and just Delights. When you have gone to 10 Irish pubs they all start to blend together. But the one with the hand-painted toilet bowls??? Not going to forget that pub for an awfully long time.
