Joe Natoli’s Post

Well folks…cat’s outta the bag 😉 I have been barely controlling my urge to tell you all about this for a YEAR now — and the day has finally come! Words fail to express just how proud I am of this — and how honored I have been to work on a book that, to me, is one of the best ever written on the topic, hands down. Grateful beyond measure to both Rosenfeld Media and Leah Buley for their faith in me. 🙏🙏🙏 I have no doubt whatsoever that this second edition of THE USER EXPERIENCE TEAM OF ONE will be instantly useful and applicable to so many #UX, #UI, #UXresearch and #ProductDesign folks battling every day on the front lines of corporate product development. A quick summary of what’s inside from @RosenfeldMedia: A lot has changed for UXers since the release of Leah Buley's The User Experience Team of One in 2013. UX teams are bigger, design is considered more necessary, and the digital landscape is crucial to any business. That's why we're excited to announce the second edition of The User Experience Team of One—an updated survival guide for a new age of #UX. With the addition of co-author Joe Natoli, this updated book addresses the often-difficult situations practitioners find themselves in, such as: - The struggle to do good work in corporate environments where speed and urgency routinely trump importance or value - The increasing need for UX practitioners to be generalists, executing across multiple areas of the discipline at a very high level The User Experience Team of One (2nd edition) confronts these challenges pragmatically while keeping intact the down-to-earth, communicative voice that makes this book so special. Pre-order your copy today and save 15% off the list price! https://lnkd.in/esMXwDqN This one, my friends, is FOR YOU. 🙏👊🔥

This is really exciting! I hardcore lived by this book back when I was first getting started in UX, and I too was a UX team of 1!

This should be incredibly useful and a real benefit to many that have been stuck in a one size fits all mentality to UX that has proven financially and strategically disassterous to all but the largest companies. Everyone needs to understand how UX can work for THEIR organization. Great work
