How to get what you want (10x more often) in 2 steps. 1. Tell the person how your thing* will help them. *The thing you're selling, or whatever it is that you "want". Why should they give you what you want? Tell them what's in it for them. (Not what's in it for you). 2. Then make your ask. It's really that easy. There are many reasons why someone may not buy what you're selling. That's ok. Expect that. No one wins every time. But if you phrase your ask in a way that benefits your "customer" and then clearly and simply ASK for what you want, you'll increase your win rate 10x. Try it. Make the ask. Let me know how it goes!
