Designed by the famous italian architect Renzo Piano
Kansai international airport, Japan opened in 1994. You may have landed there without thinking about it: it's built on a floating structure. Will the future see more floating airports due to the shortage of land space in some countries?

Subject - Flying and Turbulence! Flying is a great way to explore the world, especially when I'm with my family. Turbulence is the one thing I hate about flying, especially when I'm 30000 feet in the air and have a violent episode. Most passengers will be shaken by fear and stress during the flight, and there is no better seat to face this danger. Besides praying to calm myself down, these three factors are potentially my saving grace at this crucial moment - the aircraft systems (hardware/software), flight crew, and passengers. The purpose of a well-maintained system is to ensure the safety and operational readiness of all (A-Z). Without a strong team of pilots and flight attendants on board, the best systems are meaningless. The safety of the entire flight hinges on their experiences and dedication to their duties. When all else fails, passengers are the wild card. A country's future is akin to the scenario of a plane flying into unexpected turbulence. As a citizen, I wish for Singapore to fly high and far, flourish, and culminate, but there are risks involved in pursuing the horizon. Like aircraft systems, Singapore's key institutions must be clean, well-maintained, and reliable. Our public institution's integrity is irreplaceable, which is a key reason why Singapore enjoys enviable global standing as compared to many others. The government of the day role is like the flight crew, a crisis management team that we trust to manage our affairs. Our leaders' strong leadership will be the key to navigating through nebulous conditions for us all. Our public servants should remain steadfast in their duties and never lose touch with the people on the ground, starting from the top. Passengers = People. Their role is a perilous one, whether they lead the current ruling party or opposition. The way our government has guided and unlocked Singapore's potential over the years is something we appreciate. Nonetheless, the people on the ground have new expectations. In the next 20-30 years, what will Singapore's future life be like? Our success is attributed to the contributions of our pioneers and the blessing of having a strong government in charge. As we continue to find a way forward, a silent majority of Singaporeans are observing. Tomorrow is Singapore's 58th birthday, and in two years, she will be a proud diamond jubilee. While it may seem young, in contrast to others, 58 years is a long time. Using age as a gauge of achievement, Singapore is an overachiever! Happy 58th Singapore! #singaporeourhome #majulahsingapura
