Japan Airlines (JAL) has made a significant move by restarting its “Taiwan-Japan freighter” business after 14 years of absence. The airline is optimistic about the growing trade logistics between Taiwan and Japan. The inaugural cargo flight, which took off from Tokyo, arrived at Taoyuan International Airport at 6:16 pm on February 19th. Unlike the previous “passenger plane” cargo mode, this service will now operate on scheduled flights, significantly increasing the transportation capacity for freight between Taiwan and Japan. Given that many airlines in Taiwan are currently operating with limited services, having dedicated cargo flights to hub stations becomes crucial for airfreight services. Japan Airlines (JAL) is now one of the airlines facilitating cargo transportation to these hub stations. If you need to move cargo from Taiwan, whether it’s transit via Japan or direct delivery, or if you’d like more information, feel free to contact Uniforce Group and Air Sea Worldwide Group Uniforce Taiwan. #globallogistics #airfreight #cargoservices Web-Site: Uniforce Group Email: [email protected]

4th of April marked a significant milestone in our commitment to enhancing air cargo connectivity between Norway and China 🛫 We're thrilled to announce the successful launch of a new cargo service directly to Chengdu, made possible by Hongyuan Group with Beijing Capital Airlines operating the flight. Loaded with an impressive 44,320kg of cargo, this inaugural flight represents a substantial increase in direct capacity for shipping seafood to the rapidly expanding Chinese market 🐟. With OSCC serving as the handling agent for the flight, Hongyuan Group ensure smooth operations and efficient logistics every step of the way. This new service comes at a pivotal time, as the demand for Norwegian seafood has surged in 2023 and 2024. By offering three weekly flights for OSL initially, can the new flight meet the growing demand head-on, with plans to further increase frequency in the near future as the demand continues to soar. We're proud to facilitate the seamless transportation of Norwegian goods to international markets, fostering stronger trade relations and economic growth. ✈️🌏 #Avinor #AirCargo #NorwegianSeafood Eva Beate Lande Avinor

"A great challenge of life: Knowing enough to think you're doing it right, but not enough to know you're doing it wrong."
"At first glance, the suspension of flights to two Chinese cities doesn’t look like a big deal for Singapore Airlines Ltd. After all, Chongqing and Chengdu aren’t major routes for the renowned carrier that boasts 130 destinations around the world, but the move could put a dampener on one of the strongest friendships in the region." Not sure what the stated reasons and the real reasons for the suspension. "Air China Ltd. or Chongqing Airlines Co. could pick up the vacated slots left by the recent suspension, Bloomberg Intelligence estimates." So maybe some level of protectionism. "The importance of aviation links extends beyond merely shuffling passengers and cargo from place to place. They are a sign of cultural, political and economic ties. National airlines are called flag carriers precisely because of that symbolism." Maybe. Certainly, more connections between Singapore and China cities are generally a good thing. But in the absence of any real information, Bloomberg is left to speculate.

Last week at #RoutesAsia in Langkawi I had the pleasure of moderating a panel on Disruption – How the Asia-Pacific Market is Responding. Our excellent panellists, Ahmad Luqman Mohd Azmi, Paul Carroll and Majid Khan, discussed several disruptive factors which have forced aviation in the Asia-Pacific region and further afield to react. Airlines and airports have had to respond with shorter planning cycles while also managing, for example, unintended consequences from trade disruption. The slow reopening of the China market has also been a major factor in coping with shortages of aircraft. If there is one lesson to take away from the panel, it’s that the industry will inevitably face many disruptive events in future - and will continue responding to them with agility.
