REMINDER! Applications for our 2024 Jemena Community Grants are now open! This year we’re providing grants of up to $15,000 for organisations in the areas in which we operate in New South Wales and Victoria which are doing great work in their local communities. This year, we’re focusing on projects and programs that: ☑️ provide vital support services for people experiencing disadvantage, (for example, food programs) ☑️ enhance local community capacity building, including social enterprises ☑️ deliver socially inclusive education, training and/or work opportunities ☑️ encourage social participation or tackling isolation, especially for at-risk groups ☑️ deliver accessibility improvements for local community members. As Jemena, we want to leave a positive and lasting legacy in the areas we operate, and our grants program is one of our most important ways to do that. With the support of the EU4Moldova: Local Communities programme, the "Vasile Stroescu" LAG launched today the Business Development Centre in Viisoara village. The LAG “Vasile Stroiescu” embarked on a mission to enhance the skills of local entrepreneurs and public sector representatives in attracting funds and investments that can empower the region's potential for growth.
