Overbooking by airlines can be a common practice to compensate for potential no-shows. However, it can lead to issues when more passengers show up than there are available seats. While it helps maximize profits, the inconvenience caused to passengers can be frustrating. Striking a balance between profit and customer satisfaction is crucial for maintaining a positive relationship with travelers.
