Today we celebrated the retirement of Della Yates, Library Circulation Assistant. It’s obvious the lasting impression of Appalachian School of Law Della left with, and she will surely be missed. She has plans to visit between caretaking, babysitting, travel, and getting to some yard sales. They have #independentliving #assistedliving and #skillednursing facilities all within the same campus, plus the assurance to provide #longtermcare services as long as the person is alive- even if they run out of money. While this seems like an ideal solution for both couples and singles- there can be a significant risk if the community runs into fiscal problems.
