According to our most recent CFO Signals report, the primary concern for CFOs this quarter is the adoption of Generative AI, closely followed by the challenges of talent management and technology transformation. 👉 Amidst evolving cybersecurity threats and shifting geopolitical landscapes, CFOs are exercising caution regarding the economic outlook in the US. 👉 A significant finding is that one in four organizations lack a formal CFO succession plan. This has made establishing a clear role profile a top priority for paving the way for future financial leaders.  A recent Deloitte report sheds light on an interesting challenge: although many of us understand the importance of equity, individuals may not always feel empowered to make a difference. According to the Deloitte DEI Institute’s “The Power of ‘I’ in Equity”, here’s what we found:   👉 73.9% of respondents believe equitable outcomes should be a business priority. 👉 74.4% agree that advancing equity benefits everyone. 👉 However, only 58.6% feel personally responsible for taking action.   The report emphasizes the critical role that each person plays in advancing equity and shares seven practices that can help individuals develop a holistic approach to awareness and action. 🎉 What a year it has been! As I round out my first year as the CEO of Deloitte US, I am privileged to have witnessed firsthand the incredible work and impact of my colleagues.   I’m so proud to be a part of Deloitte. A heartfelt thank you to all my Deloitte colleagues for making this past year such a remarkable one for our organization. There are amazing things to come, and I look forward to achieving them, knowing that together makes progress.   We continue to deliver for our clients with quality, integrity, and insights while bringing innovative and differentiated solutions to help address our clients’ most complex and challenging problems. Purpose is also core to what we do at #Deloitte and we’ve made investments to help our people and our communities grow and thrive. We’ve also made significant contributions to support our professionals’ individual journeys through new training and learning initiatives, including Gen AI. I’m especially proud of our recent rise to 13 on Fortune’s list of the 100 Best Companies to Work For, a direct reflection of the energy of our people.   All these achievements are possible because of the incredible dedication and passion our people bring to work every day. It was great to be in San Francisco again this year for this Deloitte’s annual #ImpactDay. I am incredibly proud of all our professionals who volunteered on Friday at more than 1,400 sites across the country! Here in San Francisco, we kicked off the day with the Hunter Pence Healthy Planet Project, one of the newest collaborators to join the Yes SF Urban Sustainability Challenge--along with founding collaborators and Yes SF Top Innovators. Hunter shared how the Healthy Planet Project is bringing people together to clean up San Francisco, fight climate change, and raise awareness for local environmental initiatives. Collective action is the driving force behind Yes SF and all our community-based initiatives. That’s what makes Deloitte’s Impact Day so special as professionals across the country unite in their local cities to volunteer and give back. The impact of this collective effort is truly invaluable. Thank you to all the organizations collaborating with us this year. We appreciate the meaningful change you make in our communities each day. #ImpactThatMatters

At Deloitte we believe that equity should be part of every decision that a CEO makes. That’s why it was a pleasure to join a group of Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Officers at Deloitte University this week. It was an opportunity to collaborate, discuss challenges and solutions, and enrich knowledge and networks, all with the shared goal of advancing equity both in and beyond the workplace.
