The Bamboo Veiled Pavilion A Concept Project, Derived from the Concept of Veil, used in middle Eastern and South Asian Countries, to try and Protect something of extreme Importance & Honor. The Pavilion attempts to veil the art displayed inside it. Attempting to Protect the Most Pure Human Expressions i.e Art from the Materialistic Corporate World Around in an Urban Setting. The Urban Settings are a Concrete jungle, using steel and Concrete extensively, representing the Corporate world. Hence Came the use of Bamboo as a Facade Material, Representing Nature, as well as an Opposition to Steel an Concrete Facades.

Our main project within the Architecture for Heritage Course at YACademy in the small enclave of San Bartolomeo just off of Solfagnano Castle.
