#Andon_Wire_Less
Priscilla Macedo would you like to make clear that the main objective of this post is to Be Grateful.
I had the opportunity to be part of and/or represent Great Teams from (At GMB) from Press Shop until GA (General Assembler).
Besides having been the first member of CCR's (Control, Conveyor & Robotics); at first Gravatai-RS local team, ME Plant Team (Manufacturing Engineering). (1)
But the focus here is precisely to thank and say this (In addition to the leaders and boards involved etc.). In those Storm of Situations (Were a lot of great Challenges) at those time.
We knew (You and I) that the classic, the trivial, the usual would not solve, we needed to comply with, surprise and Innovate:
1. Comply with the Dates, Delivery Deadlines, Respect Standards, SOR (Declaration of Requirements etc);
2. TIt would be easy to say: Unfortunately it didn't work (Due to lack of time, lack of $$$$, because of the material (Device, Cables, etc.), Cames from USA:
BUT: We “Never Give UP!” (2)
3. I had an insight, technically matured the idea and then took the idea of the Concept to my immediate leadership (Pricila Macedo). We define suppliers, roles and responsibilities, I take the practical part (testing and making it work within the standards) and you defend the idea and convince that it would comply.
We wanted to do the best, and so we won the challenge.
And on top of that, we won that challenge, and Received a Awards. WOW! Amazing!
So, if you were recognized, congratulations, it's okay to be redundant here too. If you missed it, I would like to thank you and say that this recognition (This Innovation) would not have happened without your contribution.
I worked on a few GM projects in the US (Canada Projects, GM SpringHill-TN; Detroit Area Plants), unfortunately I didn't see this as a Andon Wireless Running, I don't know if it became Standard.
I decided to go away of GM's Environment for a while for a while.
But which I am very thankful for, because my professional values were largely forged in challenges like this (like the one quoted here).
There is more than phrases, concepts. that merge into the mine professional identity that I will take with me wherever I go, this time I highlight 02:
Continuous Improvement (Included Improve your skills, behaviors, etc.)
One Company! (Perhaps the shortest sentence, but in my opinion the most powerful).
TO THINK
TO ACT
TO ACHIEVE
Because our goal was just to solve the problem, doing our best with what we had available.
I take this opportunity to thank everyone who was my leaders (From Facilitator to Director) if you look at my history on LinkedIn I was honored with many Awards, (Result of Hard Work, Time and teams), focus on the Customer, etc.
But also from a leading company that strives to deliver the best to the Client, and recognizes the team members who commit to this mission.
