What makes us human – My personal perspective as an Architect and Founder
As an architect and the founder of Midsummer-Milano, I believe that our humanity is most evident in the way we interact with our surroundings. For me, it's about creating environments and products that are not only beautiful but also sustainable and purposeful.
At Midsummer, we bridge the gap between craftsmanship and sustainability, drawing inspiration from natural materials and traditional methods. My journey as an architect has taught me that true design isn't just about aesthetics—it's about responsibility. This philosophy is reflected in every Midsummer product. We carefully select natural materials like alpaca, cashmere, and organic cotton, which not only provide comfort but also align with our commitment to preserving the planet.
For me, sustainability in design is not just a trend, it’s a duty. The same care I put into designing spaces is carried over into the products we craft at Midsummer. Every piece tells a story of balance: between nature and innovation, between luxury and sustainability.
By staying connected to these values, we’re able to create products that endure—both in quality and environmental impact. It’s a constant reminder that what makes us human is our ability to care for the world, while creating beauty within it.

3moJamestown I love that mindset. When it comes to development, it’s hard to beat the character old buildings are able to project out to the surrounding area and the community as a whole.
