When shopping for a new HR/Payroll System naturally the sales representative will always tell you how good their system is😁🤷♂️ One way to validate what they are saying is to request one or two references from their existing clients, so they can share their experiences. Unfortunately, this only gives you a tiny representation of that vendor amongst their customers which is often in its thousands 👎❌ What if there was something better than references? 😲😲 How about asking community of over 30K HR Professionals about their experiences through the new HR Ninjas HRIS Breakout Group?!?! 🤷♂️ This group will provide you with complete transparency opposed to speaking to one or two carefully handpicked customers 😎

In a lot of organizations, I see HR teams spending too much labor on tasks that should be automated or at a minimum, routine and easy. If any of these situations resonate with you, you have some broken systems: - Your staff has to input new employee information more than once - Employees are repeatedly providing you or other departments the same information - You’re manually fixing payroll because your HRIS isn't integrated with payroll - Your staff keep emailing and calling you for information they should be able to access easily (their pay, benefits, forms, etc.) - You have too much follow-up and checking required for timesheets - When you need information about a situation (performance issue, termination, leave of absence, etc.), you can’t just look it up; you’re scanning old emails and calling managers or staff to figure it out - You can’t produce accurate data reports because not everyone is inputting data with fidelity - You can’t produce YOY reports because you change how you input or report the data every year - You don't consistently follow the same steps every time a situation crops up - Paperwork is kept in multiple places - HRIS, DocuSign, Google Drive/Box, people's hard drives, etc. - Someone (or multiple people) have seen or accessed sensitive information they shouldn’t have - People don’t know who to go to for help with different HR/talent questions and issues - You’ve found out about a personnel situation too late to support a manager in solving it - You have an unusually high number of legal claims These are all symptoms of issues that are incredibly solvable. When I see these issues, the solution typically lies in one or all of these areas: 1) Technology 2) Documented & Clear Processes 3) Training & Communication If you are tired of your systems not working well, let’s talk.
