JA Europe CEOs held a Board of Executives meeting in Catania today alongside the #Gen_E 2024 European Entrepreneurship Festival. The leadership of our 42 JA Members in Europe comes together twice a year to address strategic topics relevant to our network impacting over 6 million young Europeans annually! It was also the occasion for a leadership training by McKinsey.org that provided valuable insights on building and maintaining high performing teams within different types of organisations. Working in 365 schools, JA Romania introduced INSPIRE activities and PREPARE and SUCCEED projects that developed skill sets and engaged local businesses. Tonight at #Gen_E 2024 we celebrate Euroclear 10-Year Partnership Anniversary to mark our joint work together to empower the next generation of Europeans. The CEO of Euroclear Group, Valérie Urbain, shared some inspiring words that resonate deeply at #Gen_E, as she shared three advices to aspiring entrepreneurs: 🔹Dream Big: Set audacious goals. The world needs bold visionaries who dare to dream beyond the ordinary. 🔹Learn from Failures: Don’t fear mistakes; embrace them. Each failure is a stepping stone toward success. Learn, iterate, and grow. 🔹Lifelong Learning: Never stop learning. Seek out opportunities to expand your knowledge, whether through formal education or real-world experiences. JA Europe in collaboration with JA Italia, Isola.Catania, EY and EY Foundation, hosted “School Coalition: A Model of Alliance for the Future of Youth” during #Gen_E 2024 The session highlighted critical issues affecting the educational and professional future of young people, such as school dropout rates and the skills mismatch in the school-to-work transition, and laid the groundwork for solutions. Recognising the complexity of these challenges and the need for a broad, multistakeholder commitment, the event featured contributions from representatives of institutions, businesses, and associations at international, national, and local levels. Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to the conversation, helping to shape a brighter future for our youth!
