Your doggo deserves better than leftover pizza crust and those grapes you share. Here's a heads-up on some human foods that are toxic to dogs: ☠️☠️☠️ Big no-nos: 🍫Chocolate: Even a small amount can cause seizures, tremors, and even death. Don't give them cocoa treats either! 🍇Raisins & Grapes: These seemingly harmless fruits can lead to kidney failure. 🚫Xylitol: This artificial sweetener hides in your doggo’s favourite Peanut butter, candy and baked goods. It can cause low blood sugar and liver damage. Our Peanut Butter is xylitol free and is 100% natural & safe for your bestie. Link in bio🔗 🥑Avocado: Persin in this trendy fruit is toxic to pups. Stick to safe snacks like carrots or apples (without the cores!). 🧅🧄Onions & Garlic: The alliums family (including chives and leeks) can damage red blood cells. ⚠️⚠️⚠️ Proceed with caution: 🦴Bones: Cooked bones can splinter and cause internal injuries. Stick to our Dehydrated Chicken Feet! (link in bio🔗) 🥛Dairy: Some dogs can't digest lactose, leading to upset stomachs. Dairy-free treats are pup-approved! 🌰Macadamia nuts: These yummy nuts can cause muscle weakness and tremors. Keep the nut bowl out of reach. Share this post to spread the word and keep our furry friends safe! PS. Want more tips? Helping women entrepreneurs optimize their health through microbiome-based nutrition, stress reduction, sleep remedy, and detoxification. Author of 'Happy Foods - 100 Mood Boosting Recipes'
Happy Valentine's everyone! ❤️ How many Reeses have you eaten through the years? Have you ever read the ingredients label or calculated the amount of sugar in just one serving? 👀 I, too have eaten my fill, BUT not anymore! ❤️ In honor of 'amore' and heart health, I made these keto-friendly Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups to share with my loved ones. It is my way of satisfying my longing for the commercially made version, which contains a ton of sugar and ingredients that I cannot pronounce! In fact, the Environmental Working Group has rated Reeses Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups with the WORST rating possible due to ingredients that are genetically modified and toxic preservatives. Not to mention the heavy load of processed sugar! My recipe contains no GMOs, no preservatives, and no sugar! PLUS, it's super easy to make. (I also offer a version that uses 70% dark chocolate, which has very little sugar.) Put 'yes' below if you would like the recipe. #ketorecipes #diabetesprevention #sugarfree #glutenfreerecipes

12 Medicinal Plants of Arizona with Herbal Uses by Ken Lain, the mountain gardener Mesquite trees have string bean-type pods that are quite nutritious. The best time to harvest the beans is when they are hard and golden. Often eaten fresh, dried, and baked, but usually pounded into a meal to make flour. Mesquite flour has a sweet taste, replacing some flour in baking recipes. The flowers are roasted and made into balls or steeped as tea. The sap is used to treat sunburns and chapped skin. When boiled and diluted with water, it becomes an eye wash or antiseptic. Mormon Tea grows low with thin green stems. The stems are steeped in tea to heal kidney problems, colds, congestion, and urinary tract infections. Wild yeasts are some of the most beloved microbes to work with here at Wild Pulse. They create the most amazing drinks like ginger beer and tepache, and they can also be used to bake bread. You can find wild yeasts both in nature and in the supermarket. A rule of thumb is to use 80g of sugar to 1000g of water to cultivate the wild yeast. Just add the yeast source to the lukewarm sugar water, stir daily and see how the yeast starts to develop! #GutHealth #Microbiome #HealthyEating #WellnessJourney #HolisticHealth #NutritionTips #FermentedFoods #ProbioticFoods #HomeFermentation #ELearning #Pickling101#FermentingAtHome #OnlineCourse #wildyeast #tepache #gingerbeer
