🙊 *Real Talk:* For the last 18 months, I’ve been asking myself, “What value can I offer to our community?” and “How can I live out my purpose in this season of life?” For inspiration, I’ve reconnected with many of you on this soul-searching journey and have been blown away by the talent, passions, and dreams everyone has for their #lives and #careers. There is just this deep desire all around us to apply ourselves to make a difference in our world. But sometimes we hit roadblocks and get frustrated when we don’t have the right platforms, visibility, and recognition to attract the opportunities allowing us to make a greater impact. Other times, we *do* have these things but feel like we don't know how to share our achievements and influence with our expertise. So I began innovating the process of building a #personalbrand and advocating for how it can help us maximize our potential as long as we invest in it. Although putting ourselves out there is *mad* uncomfortable, unless we own our passions, share our expertise, and let more people know about our inner genius, we could miss out on the chances to make the significant impact we’re meant to make. Today, I'm excited to officially (re)launch #Tealinn with the mission to support #leaders to clarify, own, and share their authentic brand. I believe this is one way to create a world where more people can unleash their #potential through their careers and businesses and collectively make a positive #impact in our communities. They need to see the Bigger picture. That is why, guide them to have bigger goals than themselves. 2. Give them empowerment of their voices. They need to be heard from every level, when they are being heard, they feel more engaged, thus motivated. 3. Show them how much you care and not just being assertive and directive. 8 months back, we faced a challenge. 3 people from our organization were on the verge of leaving the company. They were ready to walk away, but fate had it that they landed in our team. Now, I could've said, "This might not work out," given the history with another team. But instead, we chose a different path. We decided to work with them, to see where we could take them. Fast forward to today, they're the top performers over the last 6 months, driving revenue within our team. I’ve been asked this question before, "How did you ensure they stayed, Rubina?" Here's the thing–We didn’t ENSURE it, We ENGINEERED their success. We broke down big goals into smaller, manageable steps, each with a process attached to it. We literally broke each goal at a granular level for the team to understand better. The clearer the goal the less is it likely to be missed as it rules out misinterpretations.    Here’s What I did: I made a clear picture of how the end goal would look in my mind. I followed the famous rule called setting a SMART Goal. Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound (SMART). Now I broke these goals into milestones. I determined the major steps/ phases needed to achieve your goal. Then I went on dividing milestones into smaller, achievable sub-goals. We sat down to specify what must be true to achieve each milestone. I Identified the tasks required for each sub-goal. These were the actions to be taken daily or weekly by my team to hit these sub-goals.  We tracked their progress all through. Regularly celebrating small wins is equally important to maintain motivation (As we are doing in the picture below!) And that's how we've achieved success with everyone who's joined our team. When I took over operations last year, I reset the team, building it from the ground up. And today, I'm proud to say we've created a brand new team, united in purpose and driven by a shared vision.
