An interesting (historical) question would be the socio-political context in which this two-way transfer instrument came into being and was adopted by universities. Was it to compensate the burdens and cumbursome process of transferring knowledge in the form of patents/spin-offs/start-ups? Julia Olmos Peñuela Ana García-Granero Oscar Llopis Francisco Javier Ortega-Colomer I look forward to knowing more about this phenomenon, and the different meanings and uses that different actors and/or stakeholders attach to it.
@INN4ALL will be attending the @IRSPM 2024 Conference in Tampere. Our paper will unveil preliminary findings from a study on university chairs in Spain, portraying them as hybrid structures bridging the realms of science and societal interests. See you there! 😀
