Supporting our Team's Well-Being... I have spoken to 5 people recently who are signed off work due to burn-out. Some of them are WFH most of the time as well. It really is such a reminder of the importance of prioritising well-being in the workplace and creating a workplace where everyone can thrive. Having a hustle culture can be dangerous. While hard work is essential, it should never come at the cost of our health and happiness. It turns out that Brits feel pressured to prove that they are working hard - according to worrying new research from HR News. 🤕 A survey of over 2000 employees found that almost a quarter of workers in the UK feel the need to 'prove' their worth by working longer hours, checking emails in the evening, and not taking holidays. 📆 This is a concerning trend that employers must take action to address. 🤝 Taking steps such as encouraging a healthy work-life balance, providing training and mentoring opportunities, and allowing flexible working options can help to reduce workplace stress and ensure employees are in the right frame of mind to perform their best. 💪 It's essential that businesses take a closer look at their workplace culture and make sure it isn't putting unnecessary pressure on their employees. 🔍 #workplaceculture #mentalhealth #worklifebalance
